Helion, together with four other companies, realised a photovoltaic system with a special substructure. The project engineer had informed the parties involved that, for static reasons, the photovoltaic system could only rest on the load-bearing beams of the building. Therefore, before the east-west oriented solar panels with a total output of 82 kWp could be installed, out of standard supports had to be produced.
Helion was involved in the renovation project of Masseria Romello, one of the largest organic farms in Ticino for milk production and pig breeding. In addition to the milking machines and milk delivery equipment, the photovoltaic system was extended with the addition of 131 kW.
