Since the late 1980s, starting from a small lab in the historic center of Piacenza, Davide Groppi has been inventing and producing lamps under the homonymous brand name.
Over time, his creative and entrepreneurial independence has allowed him to develop original and highly distinctive design products that are distributed worldwide. Simplicity, lightness, emotion, invention and amazement are the fundamental elements.
Since 2018, the company is part of Italian Design Brands s.p.a., with the aim of strengthening the brand’s already important presence in international markets.

Identità Golose Milano is a permanent laboratory located in the centre of Milano dedicated to fine contemporary eating and culinary experimentation. It was conceived with the idea of hosting the most important Italian and international representatives of top quality cuisine and features a space for special events and expert cooking premieres, as well as a contemporary restaurant, designed by the architect Egidio Tordera.
Davide Groppi has provided the lighting, illuminating the spaces and embracing its tables with a touch of class that has become an ingredient itself. Direct light and indirect light mix to create an authentic multi-sensory experience.
