Calligaris was founded in Manzano, in the province of Udine, in 1923. Antonio Calligaris began in a small workshop where he produced the Marocca chair, a typical product of the area. In the years that followed, the company grew surprisingly fast, opening its first foreign branches (USA and Japan) and expanding its product range.

Today, the Calligaris group’s turnover is 142 million euros and is distributed in 650 sales outlets in 100 countries around the world, with an increasing export share of 70%. Its product range covers the entire furnishing universe, from chairs – the original product – to tables, from beds to occasional furniture, from carpets to lighting and objects for a total of 820 products.
